However, he soon discovers that her father, Xiahou Batian, was involved in his father’s case. As the truth slowly unravels, Zhan Hong ultimately succeeds in his vengeance and is appointed as the Commander of the Imperial Guards (Jinyiwei), continuing to purge corruption from the court.
