Determined to ensure that justice is served by having the young police officer punished, Adil Hoca does not let the slap go. He embarks on a difficult struggle, eventually achieves his goal, and turns the police slap—which everyone had told him to "forget about"—into a "national issue" by making it known throughout the country.
