The narrator introduces the viewer to the world of medieval England, where feudalism reigned supreme. He tries to convey to the viewer an alternative, as natural and true as possible, story of the famous robber and his band - who robbed the rich to give to intrusive beggars for the construction of their own small, poor castles.
