The gang have conned thousands of victims out of money by using multiple accounts and fake emails purporting to be from the site itself, and then used their ill-gotten gains to fund a luxurious lifestyle. Detectives place the gang under surveillance, soon uncovering a complex money-laundering network, and gather evidence for months until the time is right to launch raids on properties across the south east of England.
